His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto has been sworn in as the President of the Republic of Kenya, officially taking over as Kenya’s 5th Head of State and Government, and Commander-in-Chief of the country’s Defence Forces.
The swearing-in ceremony held at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi City County was presided over by Chief Justice Martha Koome and attended by several visiting Heads of State and Government, dignitaries and over 60,000 Kenyans from across the country.
