President William Ruto has asked Kenyans to take advantage of Government development programmes to transform their lives.
He asked Kenyans to utilise the newly-launched Hustler Fund to grow their enterprises.
He explained that the Fund will use the credit score system to increase individual’s loan limit.
“The more you repay your loan, the more you can borrow.”
The President also said the Government is importing assorted fertilisers in preparation for the planting season.
He said the plan was to ensure farmers have access to quality and affordable inputs to tame the high cost of living.
The Head of State announced that the government will construct 5,000 low-cost houses in Embu County beginning next year, creating jobs for the youth.
President Ruto made the remarks during an interdenominational church service on Sunday at the University of Embu Grounds, Embu County.
Earlier, he opened an administration block at the institution.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Attorney General Justin Muturi, Governors Cecily Mbarire (Embu), Muthomi Njuki (Tharaka Nithi), Kawira Mwangaza (Meru) and a host of MPs led by National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah were present.
